2. General information on data processing

This website processes personal data only to the extent necessary for providing a functional website and its contents. Processing happens on the legal basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interests).

3. Hosting and server logs

This site is hosted as a static website. When you visit it, the hosting provider processes connection data (IP address, timestamp, requested resource, user-agent) in server log files. This is done on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR for operational and security reasons. Logs are retained for a short period and then deleted.

4. Google Fonts

This site loads the typefaces Source Serif 4 and Inter from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited). When fonts are loaded, your IP address is transmitted to Google. Processing occurs on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. No cookies are set by the font service.

5. Cookies

This site does not set any cookies and does not use any tracking or analytics.

6. Contact by email

If you write to hello@schlenkr.dev, your message and contact details will be processed for the purpose of responding and for any follow-up engagement, on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Emails are retained as long as required for the conversation and any resulting contract, and thereafter in accordance with statutory retention periods.

7. Your rights

You have the right, under the GDPR, to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Germany: the state data protection commissioner for Hesse).

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the services offered or legal requirements. The current version applies.
